This image depicts a land in my upcoming roleplay forum Alcryst! I've been working on Alcryst for the past few days and it inspired me to release some of the land images I've created. There are far, far more than this, but this one has always been one of my all-time favorites.

For those of you who don't know, Alcryst is a forum I started work on 4 years & 9 months ago. It was briefly open with a V1 somewhere around 3.5 years ago, but I closed it to continue work because I found it impossible to run the day-to-day activity as well as finish its construction. And then, well, after a year break, I came back and realized how much needed to be completely overhauled. V2 is drastically different and better than its predecessor and I can't wait to open it this time. There is no official release date yet and the mountain of work I have yet to finish is... intimidating, to say the very least.  But I am taking as many baby steps as I can, as quickly as I'm capable, and will get there eventually--hopefully sooner rather than later, too. 

Alcryst is a high fantasy medieval-inspired world for both humans and horses-- but you can play only one of the species if you prefer. If you've ever looked through my characters, they all belong to this world. It is a deadly, gorgeous world with unlimited fantasy; anything your brain can conceive, anything you can create, exists here. There are many one-of-a-kind features on it and a vast array of options. It has been described most closely as a text-based open-world video game, akin to Skyrim or Witcher 3, rather than a traditional roleplay forum, as you have so many paths you can take and the ability to take individual action rather than constantly interacting with other characters if desired. Not to mention the insane size xD I could ramble on and on about this, but if you are interested, then just read the information I've made available at Alcryst-RPG in the meantime! This image specifically illustrates Kaleidoasis, which is a beautiful garden in the midst of a giant white city built into the side of a cliff. Here, humans can forage for plants which can be used in alchemy, crops for feeding cattle, treats for enhancing their tamed horse's abilities, and a few other here-and-there purposes. But watch out, in Alcryst, the plants might just as easily hunt you back.
